If you haven’t already noticed from my posts, I am a bit obsessed with eggs. I eat eggs every morning for breakfast. I switch up ways to cook it so I don’t get tired of the same type of eggs and there are certainly hundreds of ways you could make them. Every so often though, I feel like something different. I’m not too into sweets in the mornings but when I do crave some sugar, I gravitate towards fruits, nuts, muesli or granola. Here is one super easy to make granola bowl I make, packed with fruits. Do be careful with what kinds of granola you choose. Most of them have lots of sugar in it. I like Whole Food’s Granola where you can buy by the bulk. Look for the lowest sugar/calorie one if you are mindful of that. Otherwise, pick your favorite granola. I also don’t pack the bowl with all granola. I pack more fruit in the bowl than granola. I then add extra nuts of my choice to the top. I personally love raw slivered almonds and they are great for you but raw pumpkins seeds or cashews are good too. Chia seeds, flax etc are all great additions. I prefer almond milk or soy milk for my fruity morning bowls but you can use other milks like hemp, rice, or good old fashion milk from cows:)
Tip: Put some thought into the presentation and serve them to friends or family. Making it visually pretty which shouldn’t be hard with all the colors make the food look even more inviting. Who doesn’t like eating beautifully presented food?
