Healthy Snack Ideas
On busy days, I like to eat as I work, every hour or two hours. Some days, pretzel thins, fruit, and nuts will do. Other days, turkey deli meat, olive, and hummmus with celery will suffice. Then I have days where I want something more substantial to get me through the day. This would be considered a mini meal. This is something I love having late afternoon like around 4pm or 5pm. This helps stave off the hunger pangs you may start to get closer to dinner time, especially if you have lunch at noon. If you wait to eat dinner until 7pm or 8pm your stomach is ready to absorb anything and everything. This is not how you want to approach dinner. You do not want to be ravenous by this time. You want to be feeling like you can eat something for dinner but nothing heavy. Always eat your lightest meal in the evening.

Chilled Turkey Dumplings with Quinoa, diced persian cucumbers, and celery : Drizzle some braggs soy sauce and sesame oil on it before eating and you’ve got yourself a dumpling quinoa salad:)
