This week has been incredibly tiring. Oracle Open world is this week and it’s been great for Fang restaurant. We’ve been working non stop all week (lunch and dinner) servicing all the attendees. It’s been amazing so far. These attendees love food and know how to have a good time. Unfortunately for my pool little feet, all this business also means running around all day long for 12-14 hours straight. This morning I could barely peel myself on the bed because my arms and legs still felt like jello from the night before.
Needless to say, all this working has given me no time to cook for myself other than for my customers. In going through some of my photos to choose a dish I’ve made before that I would like to share, I came across some of my pics from my past trip from LA. And I realized I had not shared one of my go to spots in LA that I love: Panini CAFE! (outside the cafe on 3rd street) They have multiple locations:)
This place serves kabobs, salads, pastas, paninis, breakfast items, healthy dishes, and more. It’s got such an incredible menu for a standard cafe. I wish we had a place like this in SF that I could just walk to from work and grab a bite to eat. The portions are super hearty and you don’t have to feel bad eating it. Think great grilled lean meats, salads, wheat bulgar, egg whites, etc. My favorite is the Chicken Kebab with a side of the Koobideh Skewer (Ground beef), wheat bulgar pilaf, salad and their eggs with chicken sausage scramble with spinach
Anyhow if you are ever in LA…go visit Panini Cafe for a satisfying bite and don’t forget to spend some time by the Beach (Malibu or Santa Monica).
And stay tuned for a recipe coming later this week after the Oracle Madness dies now 🙂
