L’Etoile at Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard

First night in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard and I tried L’Etoile for dinner which is located in this super cute old school house. The dining tables are split into separate rooms and make the dining experience very intimate. It reminds me of Chez Panisse in Berkley. Below are the dishes I tried:

Sugar Snap Pea Soup with Grilled Lobster and Parmesan Crisp

Sesame Crusted Soft Shell Crab with Mache Salad and Citrus Beurre Blanc

Sear Duck Foie Gras with blackberries, caramelized rhubarb, and creamed cauliflower

Pistachio Crusted Australian Lamb Chops with cabernet sauce with cauliflower cheese gratin and broccolini

Lightly Grilled East Coast Halibut with Pea Risotto, roasted tomatoes, pickled green beans

Overall, the restaurant was top notch. The setting and the service was great too. It was the perfect way to kick the weekend off. More to come…stay tuned for more posts on Martha’s Vineyard!!!
