I absolutely adore my new Breville juicer which I keep right next to the bar at FANG. I can now get fresh vegetable and fruit juices made everyday. It’s such an awesome piece of equipment. The juicer actually manages to peel the the skin off the fruit/vegetable before it turns it into pulp, leaving the skins whole in the bin. I can’t get over how great it is to have fresh juice made everyday. I LOOOVE IT!
My first concoction:
Apple Cucumber Spinach Juice
1/2 apple ( vitamin c, good for heart health, protect against cancer, lung and asthma support)
1 whole cucumber (vitamin c, vitamin a, potassium, manganese, folate)
2 handfuls of spinach (antioxidant, vitamin a, vitamin e, magnesium, folate, iron, calcium, potassium just to list a few)
Be sure to add a few spoonfuls of the apple/cucumber/spinach pulp back into your juice so that you don’t lose all the fiber. The fiber in an apple contains flavonoids and phloridzin which is good for lung health and also helps keep LDL cholesterol low. All the fiber you find in these fruits and vegetables are good for you, so you don’t want to lose all of it by juicing it.
